Business Development Manager
Drive B2B sales growth and build international client relationships for a leading AWS partner and Drupal specialist serving Europe and the USA.
Cheppers is looking for a Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to help expand our client base in Hungary, Europe, and the USA. This role is ideal for someone with solid B2B sales experience who enjoys consultative selling, understands technology services, and is ready to take ownership of sales opportunities from prospecting to closing.
You will work closely with management, delivery teams, and marketing partners to identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, build long-term client relationships, and support Cheppers’ international growth in areas such as AWS cloud services, GenAI solutions, Drupal development, web platforms, and digital transformation projects.
Reports to: Head of Sales and Marketing / Management

Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential B2B clients in Hungary, EMEA, and the USA, with a focus on technology, digital transformation, cloud, and web development opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle for assigned opportunities, including lead qualification, discovery calls, proposal support, follow-ups, negotiations, and closing.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects, existing clients, partners, and strategic contacts.
- Understand client needs and work with internal technical and delivery teams to shape relevant solutions and proposals.
- Support business development for both long-term collaborative client partnerships and full-service project engagements.
- Contribute to go-to-market activities for AWS cloud services, GenAI solutions, Drupal development, and related technology services.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in the CRM and regularly report on opportunities, activities, forecasts, and results.
- Collaborate with marketing partners and internal stakeholders on campaigns, lead generation initiatives, events, and outbound sales activities.
- Represent Cheppers professionally in client meetings, networking events, partner discussions, and industry conferences.
- Continuously improve sales materials, outreach messages, client presentations, and proposal processes based on market feedback.
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience, in technology services, software development, cloud services, digital agencies, or IT consulting.
- Existing network in enterprise technology, non-profit, digital transformation, or international business sectors.
- Experience working with international clients, especially in EMEA or US markets.
- Experience with consultative sales processes and the ability to understand client needs before proposing solutions.
- Confidence in managing client conversations with business stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and follow through on sales opportunities.
- Interest in complex technical solutions such as cloud services, web development, open-source technologies, AI, or digital transformation.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools to track opportunities and client interactions.
- Structured, proactive, and reliable working style with strong ownership of tasks and targets.
- Strong interest in AI-driven solutions and how they can support client business goals.
Nice to have
- Experience selling AWS cloud services, Drupal development, web platforms, software development, or IT consulting services.
- Understanding of partner sales, strategic alliances, or channel-based business development.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing, outbound sales, LinkedIn prospecting, or sales automation tools.
- Experience participating in client workshops, discovery sessions, or proposal preparation.
